San Francisco Giants
The three time World Champion San Francisco Giants set out to be the most social team in Major League Baseball and create a ballpark destination that would incite social media connection, interaction, and conversation among their worldwide fans. In addition, the SF Giants also wanted to establish the franchise as thought leaders in the use of emerging technology for professional sports and brought in Array to help make that happen.
Array designed a social storytelling digital experience that connected fans to the SF Giants brand, helping them feel far more than just spectators, but an integral part of the team. Custom visualizations displayed real-time social media content from custom #hashtags, players, reporters, industry pundits and global fans. Social feeds were displayed on an expansive 3x2 video wall and pushed to the Giants scoreboard to incite stadium participation.
